The old signs in Boulogne-Billancourt mark the evolution of the city from a royal hunting ground to an industrial center. Thirty-six graphic markers placed throughout the streets were developed with the city archives to map out local history. These panels trace the area from the construction of the church of Notre-Dame de Boulogne, founded seven centuries ago, through the eras of French kings and knights who once frequented these lands.
