Roland Garros Stadium

The Roland Garros stadium is a complex of tennis courts marked by its distinctive red-clay surfaces, spread across twelve hectares at the edge of the Bois de Boulogne. It was built in nineteen twenty-eight to host France’s defense of the Davis Cup following a national victory in the tournament the year before. The site remains the home of the French Open, the only one of the four annual Grand Slam tennis events played on clay.
