Immeubles Agar

The Immeubles Agar are a group of seven residential buildings recognized by their rounded bay windows and stone facades embellished with floral carvings. Designed by the architect Hector Guimard between nineteen ten and nineteen twelve, these structures form a distinctive urban ensemble that spans three streets in the Auteuil neighborhood: Rue La Fontaine, Rue Agar, and Rue Gros. Guimard, who was also a shareholder in the real estate company that commissioned the project, integrated ornamental cast-iron railings and balconies drawn from his own designs.
