Musée Zadkine

The Musée Zadkine sits behind a narrow, unassuming entrance on Rue d'Assas, opening into a quiet garden filled with bronze and stone sculptures. This site was the home and workshop of the Russian-born sculptor Ossip Zadkine, who lived and created his art here for nearly forty years. It remains one of the few artists' studios in Paris preserved in its original atmosphere, offering a view into the life of a man who moved among the avant-garde figures of the early twentieth century.
