Rue-Pali-Kao Garden

The Rue-Pali-Kao Garden is a terraced green space tucked into the hillside below the Parc de Belleville. You can identify the site by its location at thirty-eight Rue de Pali-Kao, where it sits opposite the Maison du Bas-Belleville. Since twenty-twenty-one, the space has been named for Gabriële Buffet-Picabia, an avant-garde art theorist and resistance fighter who lived until nineteen eighty-five.
