At the corner of Rue de Belleville and Rue Julien-Lacroix, on Place Fréhel, a large black slate is permanently suspended on the wall. The installation features two life-sized figures of construction workers frozen in place, appearing to hold the board aloft with ropes and platforms. Inscribed on the slate in white calligraphy is the French phrase, Il faut se méfier des mots, which translates to Beware of words.
