Built between the late sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries, this structure stands as a rare surviving example of the grand patrician residences that once defined Marseille’s historic center. Commissioned by wealthy merchants of Italian and Spanish origin, it reflects the city's long-standing status as a hub for Mediterranean trade.
