The Hôtel de Cabre is the oldest surviving house in Marseille, built in fifteen thirty-five for Louis de Cabre, a merchant and city consul. It is recognizable by its blend of Gothic and Renaissance styles, featuring mullioned windows and carved effigies of its original owners on the façade.
