Rue Crudère is a narrow pedestrian street in the sixth arrondissement of Marseille, tucked into a neighborhood known as Notre-Dame du Mont. You can recognize this street by the dense layers of graffiti and elaborate murals that cover nearly every available surface, from metal shutters to residential walls. It is a defining feature of the wider Cours Julien area, which transitioned from a bustling fruit and vegetable market in the late nineteenth century into an arts-focused district following the market's closure in nineteen seventy.
