The tiny bronze sculpture of a Rubik-kocka, or Rubik’s Cube, is bolted to a wall near Batthyány Square. Crafted by artist Mihály Kolodko, this miniature work captures the world-famous puzzle in a moment of motion, as if its rotating layers are frozen in mid-turn. Its position along the stone stairs leading down toward the Danube riverbed makes it a quiet, easily overlooked detail in the city landscape.
