Quinta Montes Molina

The Quinta Montes Molina sits on Paseo de Montejo, marked by a distinctive turret and neoclassical facade that reflect the opulence of the early twentieth-century henequen boom. Completed in nineteen oh two, the mansion was originally called Villa Beatriz by its first owner, the Cuban businessman Aurelio Portuondo y Barceló. He named the estate for his daughter, and her name remains visible on the glass window above the front entrance.
