Parque de Santa Ana

Parque de Santa Ana is defined by the stone church that occupies its northern side, a building completed in seventeen thirty-three. The park serves as the center of this neighborhood, which grew during the eighteenth century to accommodate artisans and laborers. The site of the church is reportedly a former Maya pyramid base, known as Baklum-Chaam.
