Przejście Świdnickie is defined by a series of bronze figures, the Anonymous Pedestrians, which appear to sink into the pavement on one side of the street and reemerge on the other. This sculpture, created by artist Jerzy Kalina and installed in two thousand five, features fourteen lifelike people descending and rising from the ground. It serves as a visual reference to the period of martial law in Poland during the nineteen eighties, when political suppression forced many citizens into hiding.
