DeCamondo Galata, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

DeCamondo Galata occupies two distinct nineteenth-century buildings, each bearing the legacy of the influential Camondo family. One site, the House Building on Felek Street, served as a private residence for Abraham Salomon de Camondo. The second, the Banque Building on Bankalar Street, functioned as the family's business headquarters. These structures feature neoclassical facades and exposed brickwork, elements preserved from the era when the Camondos operated as the primary financiers for the Ottoman government.
