Orhan Kemal Museum

The Orhan Kemal Literature Museum occupies a five-story building in the Cihangir neighborhood of Beyoğlu, identifiable by its role as a dedicated archive for the life and work of the twentieth-century novelist Orhan Kemal. Established in the year two thousand with the support of the Orhan Kemal Culture and Arts Center, the museum preserves the personal history of a writer who became a central figure in Turkish literature.
