Fettes College

other

Fettes College is unmistakable for its main building, a sprawling, turreted structure of stone that merges French château design with the heavy, pointed elements of the Scottish Baronial style. Designed by architect David Bryce, the school opened in eighteen seventy as a boarding institution for boys, though it has been co-educational since nineteen eighty-three. The entire campus sits within ninety acres of woodland grounds, set apart from the surrounding city streets.
