Capidro Folk Art was once a sprawling, hand-built environment that transformed a residential yard at two hundred sixty-two Princeton Road into a labyrinth of concrete, shells, and ornaments. Its creator, John Giudici, began the project in nineteen thirty-two after his two-year-old son fell into a backyard garden pond. Giudici filled the pond with cement to prevent further accidents and spent the next fifty years adding to the structure, creating arches and walls embedded with bocce balls, sea shells gathered from local beaches, and small figurines.
