Amuctac Hill

Amuctac Hill rises above the Visitacion Valley neighborhood, its slopes defined by the steep terrain that characterizes this southeastern edge of San Francisco. The name itself serves as a direct link to the valley’s past, honoring the Yelamu people who established one of their original settlements here long before the arrival of Spanish missionaries and settlers in the eighteenth century.
