Los Baños del Mar Pool is identifiable by its long, open-air, fifty-meter swimming pool located right at the edge of the Pacific Ocean on Shoreline Drive. This facility is the third public bathhouse to occupy this specific parcel of land in the Plaza del Mar area. The site was originally deeded in eighteen ninety-nine through the estate of Thomas B. Dibblee with the express legal condition that the property must always function as a public bathing resort.
