SALT at Our Kaka'ako is an open-air retail and dining complex defined by its industrial aesthetic, featuring raw concrete, exposed steel, and repurposed shipping containers. Spanning eighty-five thousand square feet in the heart of Honolulu, the site brings together local restaurants, independent boutiques, and community spaces. It opened in two thousand seventeen as a project by Kamehameha Schools, intended to anchor the surrounding neighborhood with a walkable hub for local entrepreneurs.
