The Berkeley Building at two hundred Berkeley Street is a twenty-six-story tower known for the weather beacon at its summit. Completed in nineteen forty-seven, the structure is sheathed in Berea Sandstone and features a stepped design that narrows as it rises. For nearly two decades, this building stood as the second-tallest structure in Boston, serving as a prominent landmark that long appeared in the logo for the John Hancock Insurance Company.
