The most prominent feature of the Downtown Container Park is a towering, fifty-five-foot-tall metal sculpture of a praying mantis at the entrance. This statue, which previously appeared at the Burning Man festival, periodically shoots flames from its antennae into the air. The park itself is an open-air shopping and entertainment complex built on the site of a former abandoned motel.
