HL23 is a fourteen-story residential tower that stands out for its reverse-tapering shape, narrow at its base and widening as it reaches toward the sky. Located at five hundred fifteen West Twenty-third Street, the building was completed in two thousand eleven and designed by architect Neil Denari. Its north and south facades feature a glass curtain wall marked by a crosshatch pattern of white structural steel, while the east side, which faces the High Line park, is covered in embossed metal panels with a wavy texture meant to echo the plant life of the railway turned park.
