The brick building at two hundred eight West Thirteenth Street is easily identified by its rusticated stone first floor, featuring round-arched windows and a facade that spans several bays. Built in eighteen sixty-nine, the structure originally opened as Public School sixteen, serving as an educational site for over a century before it eventually became the Food and Maritime Trades High School.
