Casselden Place

Casselden Place is a narrow, historic laneway located between Exhibition and Spring streets in the heart of Melbourne. Today, it is largely defined by the towering office complex that bears its name, but a single, red-brick cottage at number seventeen survives as a rare remnant of the nineteenth-century neighborhood known as Little Lon. Built in eighteen seventy-seven, this small structure once belonged to a terrace of six and is the only single-story dwelling from that era still standing in the district.
