Ancient Times House sits at one hundred and sixteen Little Bourke Street, a three-story brick structure that once functioned as a private museum of antiquities. Established in nineteen fifty-four, this collection gathered thousands of artifacts from Egypt and the ancient Near East, including clay tablets, pottery, and Syrian glass. For decades, the building provided a space for public lectures and educational programs focused on the historical background of the Bible, drawing students and researchers who came to study the collection of approximately two thousand five hundred objects.
