AC/DC Lane is identifiable by its name signs, which lack the band’s signature lightning bolt due to official naming regulations. This narrow thoroughfare, running between Flinders Lane and its neighbor, Duckboard Place, was formerly known as Corporation Lane until October first, two thousand and four. On that day, Lord Mayor John So officially renamed it to honor the hard rock band. He marked the occasion by declaring that while the group had a Highway to Hell, this was a laneway to heaven.
