Little Lon Distilling Company occupies the last remaining single-story red brick cottage in Melbourne's central business district. Built around eighteen seventy-seven, this compact structure sits at seventeen Casselden Place, a remnant of a neighborhood once known as Little Lon. In the early twentieth century, this area was notorious for its crowded slums, opium dens, and a bustling red-light district.
