Pfarrkirche Mariä Himmelfahrt (Maria am Berg)

The Pfarrkirche Mariä Himmelfahrt, also known as Maria am Berg, sits on a rocky ledge high above the village of Hallstatt. You can identify this church by the tower that remains from a much older twelfth-century structure, standing in contrast to the late Gothic building that replaced it in fifteen oh five.
