Oscar Peterson mural

The Oscar Peterson mural, titled Jazz Born Here, features the legendary jazz pianist captured in shades of blue, purple, and black. Painted by artist Gene Pendon, the artwork displays Peterson at different stages of his life, with piano notes winding through the design to trace his international career. At the very top, the mural depicts the skyline of Little Burgundy as the artist observed it from his scaffolding while working on the piece in two thousand eleven.
