The Maison Reid Wilson is a three-story stone residence featuring a slate mansard roof and an eclectic facade that blends Italianate, Romanesque Revival, and Gothic Revival styles. Located at twelve oh one Sherbrooke Street West, this house represents one of the few remaining mansions from Montreal's nineteenth-century Golden Square Mile. It was originally completed in eighteen eighty-two according to plans by architect John James Browne, though it underwent an extensive reconfiguration in nineteen oh one by the Buffalo-based architect Richard A. Waite.
