Surco Records began in two thousand twelve as a virtual shop, providing vinyl records to local collectors and music lovers in Medellín. Founded by individuals with deep roots in the city's electronic music scene, the store focuses on an alternative catalog that spans electronic, hip-hop, and rock. Since its inception, the shop has changed physical locations as it moved from initial online-only operations to various storefronts across the city.
