Plaza Cisneros is defined by its artificial forest of three hundred light poles, which reach up to twenty-four meters in height. These metal and concrete columns, topped with reflectors, cast light across the square after dark and provide shade during the day. The plaza is situated in the city center between the EPM Library, the historic Carré and Vásquez buildings, and the former Antioquia Railway Station.
