The Salón Versalles is distinguished by its long presence on Calle Junín, a historic pedestrian walkway in downtown Medellín. Opened in August nineteen sixty-one by the Argentine immigrant Leonardo Nieto, the establishment introduced local residents to flavors like empanadas argentinas, churrasco, and milanesa. It grew from a modest ice cream and pastry shop into an enduring culinary meeting point.
