Olofborg is distinguished by the two stone towers that rise above its roofline, forms inspired by the medieval Olavinlinna castle in Savonlinna. Completed in nineteen oh three, this apartment building was designed by the architectural partnership of Herman Gesellius, Armas Lindgren, and Eliel Saarinen. It stands as a prominent example of the Jugendstil, or Art Nouveau, movement in Helsinki.
