Architecture & Design Museum

The Architecture and Design Museum sits on Korkeavuorenkatu Street in a red-brick building distinguished by a row of stepped gables along its roofline and a tall slate spire rising above the center. Originally completed in eighteen ninety-five as a school for Swedish-speaking students, the structure features ground-floor walls banded in pale plaster and upper windows set into pointed brick arches.
