Helsinki Central Station

Helsinki Central Station is defined by its pink Finnish granite facade and the four massive stone figures known as the Lantern Bearers that flank its main entrance. These statues, sculpted by Emil Wikström, stand guard holding spherical lamps that glow at night. The building also features a prominent clock tower that rises nearly forty-nine meters above the street.
