Two limestone pillars topped with stone fire pots support a wrought-iron gate, marking the entrance to the former château of Conflans. Designed by architect Pierre Desmaisons and completed in seventeen seventy-seven, this gate is one of the few remnants of an estate that once served as a prestigious residence for aristocrats, including the ducs de Bourgogne and, later, the archbishops of Paris.
