Vestiges de la gare de Rue Claude Decean

The vestiges of the Gare de la rue Claude Decaen consist primarily of the platforms and the concrete footbridge of the Rue des Meuniers, which still span the former Petite Ceinture railway tracks. Originally built as a temporary wooden halt for the nineteen hundred Exposition Universelle, the station was intended to provide direct access to the exhibition's pavilion in the Bois de Vincennes. In nineteen oh seven, architect Edmond Delaire replaced the temporary structure with a permanent station built of reinforced concrete, brick, and terracotta.
