Ancienne gare de Reuilly

The Ancienne Gare de Reuilly is recognizable by the distinctive red brick facade of its passenger building, a contrast to the rustic style of other stations on its former line. Opened on September twenty-second, eighteen fifty-nine, this station served the Vincennes line, which carried commuters between the Gare de la Bastille and the eastern suburbs. For over a century, the structure accommodated both passengers and the families of railway workers who lived in apartments on its upper floors.
