Saint-Antoine des Quinze-Vingts

The Saint-Antoine des Quinze-Vingts church on Avenue Ledru-Rollin is distinguished by a tall bell tower rising forty-three meters and a translucent dome that covers the crossing of the transept. Built of brick and stone in a neo-Romanesque style, the structure was completed in nineteen oh three by the architect Joseph-Émile Vaudremer and his collaborator Lucien Roy. It occupies the site of a former parish that spent a century without its own dedicated building following the destruction of an earlier abbey during the French Revolution.
