MAHJ – Musée d'Art et d'Histoire du Judaïsme

The Musée d'Art et d'Histoire du Judaïsme is identified by the colossal Corinthian pilasters lining its courtyard, a distinguishing feature of the Hôtel de Saint-Aignan, the seventeenth-century mansion that houses the institution. Designed by the architect Pierre Le Muet and built between sixteen forty-four and sixteen fifty, this building has shifted through many purposes over nearly four centuries.
