The Great Mills of Paris

The Great Mills of Paris, or Grands Moulins de Paris, are defined by a massive, quadrangular structure of neoclassic design that dominates the site. Built between nineteen seventeen and nineteen twenty-one by architect Georges Wybo, this industrial complex was designed to improve grain supplies during the First World War. It once stood as the largest mill in the world, capable of processing up to one thousand seven hundred tons of wheat every single day.
