The Rhinos in the thirteenth arrondissement of Paris are identified by their relief form, protruding from the wall as a large, textured sculpture built entirely from colorful scraps of salvaged plastic and metal waste. Created by the Portuguese artist Artur Bordalo, known as Bordalo II, this work is part of his international series of animals constructed from the very refuse that threatens their natural habitats.
