The Passage du Chantier is a narrow, cobblestone lane that runs for one hundred and twenty meters between the Rue du Faubourg-Saint-Antoine and the Rue de Charenton. Opened in eighteen forty-two, it takes its name from a former firewood storage yard that once occupied this space. Today, the passage is marked by its quiet atmosphere, colorful shop facades, and small inner courtyards that reveal glimpses of the area’s long-standing industrial history.
