Cimitero di Valmy

The Cimetière de Valmy sits along the avenue de la Porte de Charenton, positioned between the city railway lines and the boulevard périphérique. Although this cemetery occupies land within the twelfth arrondissement of Paris, it is owned and managed by the municipality of Charenton-le-Pont. It was opened in nineteen oh six on a strip of ground that had previously been designated as non-constructible space near the city's old fortifications.
