Tour Eqho

landmark

Tour Eqho is a one hundred thirty-meter office skyscraper in the La Défense business district, identifiable by its distinct shape: a rectangular block with a semi-cylinder cut into its main facade. Originally completed in nineteen eighty-eight under the name Tour Descartes, the building was designed by architects Jean Willerval, Fernando Urquijo, and Giorgio Macola. For over two decades, it housed the French headquarters of IBM Corporation, serving as a landmark of the district's third generation of towers.
