Parc Diderot is defined by a massive, tiered artificial waterfall that descends a fourteen-meter slope toward the rue de Strasbourg. Designed by landscape architect Alain Provost and opened in nineteen ninety-two, this one-hectare green space sits within the La Défense business district. The waterfall is constructed from layers of blue-gray stone plates, some arranged vertically to mimic the motion of crashing waves.
