Cœur Défense

Cœur Défense is a complex of twin towers that rise one hundred and sixty-one meters above the Courbevoie business district. You can identify the site by its two slim, rounded office buildings connected by a central structure and three smaller volumes, all wrapped in a white facade with expansive glass windows. Completed in two thousand one, the project replaced the former Esso Tower, which was the first building of the original La Défense generation to be demolished.
