Square Georges Gay

Square Georges Gay is a quiet, enclosed neighborhood park where trees shade benches and a playground. It occupies land once part of a private estate that shaped the local history of Les Lilas. In nineteen oh three, the property became the site of an educational institution for young women, known as the Institution de Madame Gay. The school operated under the motto of bringing the countryside to the city.
